Regulate
Understand how your nervous system responds to pressure. Learn to recognise your stress patterns and practise returning to a more regulated state through breathwork, mindfulness, somatic practices, movement and body awareness.
A seven-day nervous system regulation retreat for entrepreneurs, founders, CEOs, executives and senior leaders who want to recover their energy, understand their stress patterns and sustain high performance with greater clarity.
I spent years building companies, brands and teams. I learned how to make difficult decisions, solve problems, take risks, keep moving and create many of the things I once wanted from life.
From the outside, it looked like success. In many ways, it was.
There were periods when I felt drained. Nothing was necessarily going wrong. Many things were going very well. My energy simply was not keeping up with the life I had built.
I realised I had spent years learning how to perform, build, solve and accelerate, with far less attention on stopping, recovering, listening to my body and recognising when I was running out of capacity.
You can be successful on the outside and still live in a constant state of pressure on the inside.
Ambition can stay. Growth can stay. The shift is learning how to support the person behind everything you are building.
The retreat combines nervous system education, body-based practices, recovery and reflection with enough space to experience a different internal rhythm.
Understand how your nervous system responds to pressure. Learn to recognise your stress patterns and practise returning to a more regulated state through breathwork, mindfulness, somatic practices, movement and body awareness.
Explore sleep, breathing, movement, rest and energy while creating enough space to experience deeper recovery. Floating Therapy, sauna, meditation and nature support the process.
Bring the body back into the conversation. Notice tension, fatigue, emotion, breathing and energy earlier, before overload becomes the only signal you can hear.
Explore emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, leadership and the difference between reacting and responding. Look at how pressure moves between work, relationships and the rest of life.
Step back from the pace of everyday life and reconsider the relationship between success, energy, leadership and the way you want to live. Return with greater clarity around what needs to change and what needs to remain.
High performers tend to become very good at functioning under pressure. You learn to make decisions quickly, manage uncertainty, solve problems and keep going when things become difficult.
Those abilities may be part of what made you successful.
The deeper question is whether your body knows how to recover once the challenge is over.
Can you finish an important meeting without carrying it for the rest of the day?
Can you stop working without your mind continuing the conversation?
Can you sleep without solving tomorrow's problems in bed?
Can you experience success without immediately preparing for the next crisis?
The aim is greater capacity to respond, recover and adapt.
What looks like a lack of motivation may sometimes be a need for recovery.
Your mind may need fewer systems and more room to settle.
You may notice how often you remain switched on long after the situation has passed.
Some behaviours that helped you build your career may no longer serve the person you have become.
Breakfast followed by a practice focused on the body and nervous system, then the main session of the day. Themes may include regulation, recovery, leadership, emotional regulation, relationships, energy and sustainable performance.
More space. Ocean, Tenerife, nature, Floating Therapy, sauna, reading, conversation, sleep or a few hours with nothing that needs to be decided.
Integration, conversation, meditation and selected deeper experiences, including Sound Healing and the cacao ceremony.
Tenerife gives you something that is difficult to create while you are surrounded by your normal environment: perspective.
The Atlantic Ocean, volcanic landscape, warm light and slower pace of the island create a very different setting from meetings, notifications and constant decision-making.
Time by the ocean, nature and opportunities to explore the island give the retreat a physical sense of distance from everyday life.
The retreat is based in a private villa in La Orotava, one of the greener and more traditional areas of northern Tenerife. The property sits between the Atlantic coast and the slopes of Teide, with open views across the island landscape.
The villa gives the group room to spend time together and room to step away. Shared indoor and outdoor spaces are used for meals, conversations and retreat sessions, while terraces and quiet corners make it easy to take time for yourself.
Recovery facilities include a jacuzzi, sauna and Floating Therapy experience. Optional time away from the villa may include Teide, Puerto de la Cruz and the natural volcanic pools along the north coast.
The property and island are part of the retreat rhythm: shared spaces when you want connection, quieter corners when you want distance, and the landscape of Tenerife around you throughout the week.
Greater clarity around stress, decision-making, emotional patterns and the relationship between pressure and performance.
A deeper understanding of the relationship between stress, recovery, sleep, breathing, movement and energy.
More awareness of how you communicate, set boundaries and remain present with the people around you.
More space to consider what you want from the next stage of your life and how you want to feel while creating it.
The shift in how I thought about success became important enough that, at one point, I even changed my name.
I wanted a daily reminder of something I had understood.
I want to build a successful life and be present in it. I want to feel it. I want to have energy for it. I want to enjoy it.
I still believe in ambition. I still believe in growth. I believe we need to learn how to support ourselves better while we build.
We need to know how to accelerate and how to slow down. We need to know how to perform and how to recover.
And when we build the life we wanted, we need enough capacity to actually live it.
